Reward increased in 'Robin Hood' animal cruelty case

Longview Police and Gregg County Crime Stoppers have increased the reward offered for help finding those responsible for shooting a dog with bb pellets and an arrow back in October.

Robin Hood has since recovered from his horrific wounds and found his furever home, but his case remains unsolved.

Longview animal control officers found the dog on Oct. 12 near Rawley Court and Glover Drive with wounds and an arrow sticking out of him.

The case remains under investigation, and a reward of $2,000 is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible.

Police and Animal Services are asking anyone with information to come forward and contact them or if you wish to remain anonymous call Gregg County Crime Stoppers at 903-236-7867.
