Robbery reported at Gladewater restaurant Sunday

GLADEWATER (KYTX) - On Sunday, November 17, 2013, around 9 pm, the Gladewater Police Department received a report of an aggravated robbery at Texas Traditions, a restaurant located in the 600 block of East Broadway, in Gladewater.

According to reports, two black males wearing ski type masks and dressed in all black clothing gained entrance to a back office area, displayed a weapon and then demanded the employee give them all of the money in the office. These two subjects then collected an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the business.

Gladewater Police Officers and members of the Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene along with a tracking canine unit responding from the Kilgore Police Department.

The two subjects were described as being approximately six foot in height. One subject was described as having a slender build and the other was described as having a medium build.

No injuries were reported during this incident.

The offense of Aggravated Robbery is a First Degree Felony and both of these subjects could face up to 99 years in prison and a $10,000 fine if found guilty.
