Satellite installer arrested after allegedly attempting to steal wedding ring from customer

HENDERSON COUNTY (KYTX) - A satellite installer was arrested by Henderson County Sheriff's deputies after homeowners discovered a wedding band missing from a jewelry box.

Deputies responded to a theft call on Friday,August 23 around 6:50 p.m. in Coffee City according to Sheriff Ray Nutt. The homeowners reported that a woman's wedding ring was missing from the jewelry box in the bedroom.

After further investigation, the ring was recovered from 20-year-old Steven Walsh who was still in the home installing a Direct TV satellite system.

Walsh was arrested and booked in the Henderson County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
Walsh worked for an independent contractor out of Dallas.
