Scattered showers, thunderstorms possible for some East Texas counties

EAST TEXAS (KYTX) - Thunderstorms over Oklahoma will approach parts of East Texas, mainly along the North of I-30 through late morning.

They are expected to weaken as they move into East Texas.

Grab your umbrella. While rain chances will be widely scattered, there will be a 20-30% chance of rain and thunderstorms through late morning and again mid-late afternoon and tonight.

Highs today should be slightly cooler, only 91 degrees. Lows tonight drop to 73 degrees.

Variably cloudy Tuesday and Wednesday with a 30% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Highs Tuesday and Wednesday 90-92 degrees.
