Search for missing East Texas plane continues

Harrison County (KYTX) -- Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration are still looking for a single-engine plane that left the Harrison County Airport yesterday morning and then went missing.

Abby Stevens, Flight Line Manager with the Harrision County Airport, tells CBS19 the privately-owned Piper aircraft was headed for Casper, Wyoming. Stevens said aboard the plane were four passengers, all of Marshall.

She says the plane was last seen in Kansas, during a stop to refuel the craft. Crews are continuing to search today and concentrating in forested areas outside of Casper.

We'll bring you more updates as they become available.
