Shared Harvest Community Kitchen serving free Thanksgiving dinner

Shared Harvest Kitchen:

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KYTX) - The Shared Harvest Community Kitchen will be serving a free Thanksgiving dinner from 11:30am - 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 22nd. All are welcome to attend.

All the favorites will be served including: Herb Roasted Turkey, Cornbread Dressing, Smothered Green Beans, Sweet Potato Casserole, tons of desserts, and much more. The Kitchen is located at 2125 Airline Drive in Bossier City, in the gymnasium behind the church.

Shared Harvest is a local ministry that serves free supper Monday thru Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Local families and individuals are always welcome and receive a hot, nutritious, and kid-friendly meal in a fun, cafe'-style environment.

Holly Schreiber, the Director of the program, is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York City and also has a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from TCU. "No one in our area should go to bed hungry. It is our goal to provide restaurant-quality meals each night to the families and children that visit our kitchen" she says. "We want everyone to feel loved and uplifted when they come to Shared Harvest - what better way to do that than at the dinner table?"
