National Signing Day was busy at Longview High School with 14 Lobos putting pen to paper to play at the next level. Despite suffering a season-ending injury in the first game of the 2012 season, quarterback Bivins Caraway will continue his football career, 100% healthy at the University of Louisiana-Monroe. Wide receiver Colin Jeter is off to the Air Force. Both Demarkus Lathan and Torean Sheppard are taking their football talents to Tarleton State. Justinn Spady and Corey Bartley will tear up the fields at Texas A&M Commerce, while Nakia Brown and Cornelius Williams will join them after two years at Navarro College. Tory White signed with Lamar University and Jalen Porter is leaving the Lone Star State to play in Iowa at Iowa Central College. Tre Allen will continue his football career at TJC and Keeley Bowles will also be an Apache next season but she'll play soccer. Her teammate Jennifer Boudreau will be a Tiger as she signed with the University of Memphis and Amber Redic is going to Stephen F. Austin for track.
At Henderson High Schools, Nick Siler will join Longview's Jeter as they're both playing for Air Force next year. Patrick "Monsta" Brown is off to SFA to play with his older brother Lamarcus "Pee Wee" Brown.
In Gilmer, three Buckeyes signed today to play college football. Trey Washington is officially an SMU Mustang, while Xavier Fluellen and Brady English will continue being teammates at Tyler Junior College.
Meanwhile, over at Kilgore High School, stud linebacker AJ Davis will continue to terrorize opposing offenses as a Sam Houston State Bearcat and Josh Daniels will play for head coach Danny Palmer at TJC.
