Special horse adoption happening in Henderson

(KYTX) - A special animal adoption will take place in Henderson tomorrow and Saturday.

Wild Mustangs from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management will be offered at the Rusk County Expo Center.
The Bureau of Land Management maintains herds of wild burros and wild mustangs on public lands out West.
When these herds need to be reduced, the animals are offered for adoption to the public.

There are some key restrictions. You have to be 18 and you have to present evidence that you have the facilities to keep these animals a stall and corral with access to food water and shelter.

You will have to pay an adoption fee of $125 per animal.
