Suspect arrested following shooting in Temple and child abduction

UPADTE: (KCEN) - The suspect, Vincent Corson Jr., was arrested Friday afternoon.

Two-year-old Isaiah Corson was found safe with the suspect.

Dallas PD found the vehicle and made the stop.

The AMBER Alert for Isaiah Corson has been discontinued.



(KCEN) -- A man is on the run with his two-year-old child after he shot his wife in Temple.

Around 6:30 a.m. on Friday, a man shot his wife two to three times and then fled with their two-year-old child.

Officials say that the wife had a protective order against the suspect.

The shooting happened in Temple at the Greenbrier Park Apartments on 13th Street.

The woman was transported to Scott & White Hospital for surgery.

The suspect is 30-year-old Vincent Corson. He is described to be a black male and wearing a dark hoodie and pants. He is believed to be living in Killeen.

He is driving a 2007 maroon colored Mazda M6i. The license plate is CCS2279.
