Suspects in Gammage case formally charged with capital murder

UPDATE: During this morning's arraignment, Upshur County DA Billy Byrd read the capital murder indictments against Sarah Haslam and Andrew Norwine, accused of robbing, beating and killing Ronnie Joe Gammage before burning his body on Dec. 5.

A not guilty plea was entered for both defendants, who each remain in the Upshur County Jail on at least $1.3 million bond.


 

 

UPSHUR COUNTY (KYTX) - The suspects in the robbery, beating and murder of Ronnie Joe Gammage appeared in Upshur County court Wednesday morning.

Sarah Haslam and Andrew Norwine appeared before 115th District Judge Lauren Parish to formally hear capital murder charges against them.

A third suspect, Daniel Paul Jones, waived his arraignment on Monday, April 1, 2013.
