EAST TEXAS (KYTX) - Strong northwest to west winds continue to blow across East Texas this afternoon. Sustained winds have been measured over 20 mph with gusts over 30 mph.
After 6 p.m., the winds began to decrease to between 5 and 10 mph. Thursday and Friday will be sunny with low temperatures 33 to 35 degrees and highs 59 to 64 degrees.
A weak cold front will bring a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms to the area Saturday. Highs will be in the 60s with lows in the 40s and no rain expected Sunday through Wednesday.
