Texas Softball Coach Charged with Sexually Assaulting Special Needs Child

(KHOU) -- A 69-year-old softball coach has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old on his special needs team.The child's parents reported their daughter had been assaulted multiple times by her assistant softball coach, Warren Doyle. She has been on the team for four years but the assaults began earlier this month while at a softball tournament in Burleson, Texas and continued when they returned to Baytown.

Doyle has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.

The Baytown Police Department are asking parents whose children have been in close contact with Doyle to talk with their children. If parents feel that their child has been victimized, please contact Detective Gallop at 281-420-6640.
