TYLER (KYTX) - Texas Spine and Joint Hospital received the highest possible rating from Consumer Reports in a study published July 31, 2013. The study evaluated patient outcomes for routinely scheduled surgeries such as spine procedures and knee and hip replacement. The study compares how hospitals avoid adverse events in Medicare patients during their hospital stay for surgery.
Texas Spine and Joint Hospital is one of only 18 hospitals in Texas to receive the top rating. "We have a continuous commitment to quality outcomes and patient safety," said Tony Wahl, CEO.
