Three injured in Model-T traffic accident

ANGELINA COUNTY (KYTX) - One of three people injured when their Ford Model T was rear-ended by a pickup truck remains hospitalized in Tyler.

The Lufkin Daily News reports all three occupants of the Model T were on their way to the annual Texas T-Party convention in Lufkin when their vintage vehicle was struck from behind on Hwy. 69, just south of Wells Thursday evening.

The driver, Theodore Dumas was airlifted to Tyler with unknown injuries. He remains hospitalized in serious condition.

Dumas' wife and daughter were also injured and treated and released at a Lufkin hospital, according to Dave Lucas, chairman of the Texas Model-T club.
