Tickets on sale Monday for Lindale ISD performing arts event

LINDALE (KYTX) -Tickets will go on sale to the public for RealEdge Real Estate-Lindale Presents Act III on Monday, October 21. The event has become a highly anticipated showcase of Lindale ISD student talent in the performing arts.

Act III will be held on Saturday, November 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lindale ISD Performing Arts Center adjacent to Lindale High School at 920 E. Hubbard Street.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Lindale classrooms through the Lindale ISD Education Foundation's innovative teaching grants program.

Tickets for reserved seats are $7 prior to the show. VIP tickets will also be available for $15. VIP tickets allow access to a pre-show reception and grant review beginning at 5:30 p.m. The public is encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.

Tickets will be on sale at the Lindale ISD Administration Building located at 505 Pierce St. beginning October 21. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Limited tickets will be available for purchase the night of the show inside the will call window of the Lindale ISD Performing Arts Center for $10. VIP tickets will not be available for purchase the night of the show.

Lindale ISD students from all campuses will display talents including vocal and instrumental performances, jazz and ballet dance routines, theatrical performances and oral interpretations.

"What makes this night so exciting and entertaining for the community is the level of student talent on display and the professional production quality of the show," said Lindale ISD Education Foundation Executive Director Maya Bethany.

"It is one night to enjoy music, dance and singing in theatrical fashion. It is truly a wonderful event and it benefits the people the LISD Education Foundation aims to help the most: students and teachers."

RealEdge Real Estate-Lindale Presents Act III is a follow-up to 2012's Act II and 2011's Opening Act: The Premiere Event at the Lindale ISD Performing Arts Center.

The 2011 special event was held for the grand opening of the district's $6 million facility that seats up to 1,200 guests.

Community feedback and support for the event prompted the Lindale ISD Education Foundation and LISD officials to consider making the showcase an annual event.

"I've been in education for almost three decades and Opening Act and Act II featured the finest student performances I've ever seen," Lindale ISD Superintendent Stan Surratt said.

"Many of our students have the talent to become professional entertainers and this is an opportunity for the community to see them in the earliest stages of their careers. It is the show everyone will be talking about and we look forward to seeing our parents and community members there."

Sponsorship opportunities are also available. RealEdge Real Estate-Lindale is the proud title sponsor of this year's event. For details on additional sponsorships, contact Maya Bethany at (903) 881-4001 or visit
