Tuesday's Weather: Fog this morning across parts of East Texas, high 86

EAST TEXAS (KYTX) - Good morning!

We are once again looking at Fog across East Texas. Winds overnight, and the slightly drier soils have helped to limit the Fog somewhat. However, look for the Fog to remain in play through the 8 AM hour.

As the temperature begins to rise, after sunrise, the fog will quickly abate. Otherwise, an area of Low Pressure over Louisiana will provide some lift to the moisture that is already in place across the area. These components will contribute to scattered Showers, and even a few thunderstorms this afternoon. Rainfall will move from South to North across East Texas, and will diminish with the loss of daytime heating. We are still on-target for a rather strong Cold Front on Saturday.

Have a GREAT day!!
