Two Nacogdoches teens arrested in cult ritual slaying of dog

NACOGDOCHES (KYTX) - The Nacogdoches County Sheriff Office has arrested two people in connection to cruelty to animals.

Sheriff Jason Bridges stated that the sheriff office has had an ongoing investigation into the disappearance of a dog near Cr. 769 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Investigators received information that the dog had been killed in a cult style manner by two teenagers.

Upon further investigation it was found that the animal had been tied up and skinned in a tree. The investigation also revealed that a cat and three kittens had also been killed in a satanic type ritual.  

Sheriff Investigators conducted interviews with both suspect's in this case where they have confessed to the crimes.

Sheriff Investigators also found pictures and a video that were in possession of one of the suspects of the crimes that occurred.

Mark Ainsworth 17 years of age and Delaney Walters 18 years of age both from Nacogdoches, Texas have been arrested on five counts of cruelty to animals charge that is a state jail felony.  Both subjects were booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail.
