Two weeks later: Van Zandt Co tornado aftermath

Nearly two weeks after 9 deadly tornadoes ripped through Van Zandt County and surrounding areas, nonprofit organization Faith Works Project took to the air to snap shots of affected homes.

The National Weather service reports winds reached nearly 200 miles per hour, killing several, injuring dozens and wreaking havoc across East Texas.

Volunteers rushed to help displaced residents, including Faith Works Project. They used a private plane to survey the area and determine which areas to help.
