Tyler Parks and Rec Dept. offers Spanish lessons

(KYTX) - Learn the basics of Spanish this fall by participating in a special six-week course offered by the Glass Recreation Center and Tyler Parks and Recreation.

Iris Avila, a college educator with a BA in Spanish, will instruct the class and lead students on a journey to enhance the development of grammar and vocabulary, using real life scenarios.

"Having additional language skills can be really helpful both professionally and personally," said Glass Recreation Center Supervisor. "We are pleased to be able to help our community members grow their knowledge of the Spanish language."

Classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 6–7 p.m. at the Glass Recreation Center, 501 W. 32nd St. The cost is $50 per student, please pre-register by calling (903) 595-7271.
