UPDATE: 2 more indicted for murder in connection with Tyler store clerk death

SMITH COUNTY - UPDATE: The Smith County Grand Jury handed down two additional murder indictments Tuesday afternoon in connection with the January death of a Tyler store clerk.

Lemarcus Hannah, 32, and Kedarius Hayes Oliver, 23, were each indicted on one count of murder in the death of store clerk Billy Stacks. Stacks had worked at the Conoco gas station 12 years when he was shot and later died from his injuries.

Dameon Jamrc Mosley, 26, was indicted on April 21 for the same incident.

All three remain in the Smith County Jail.


One person has been indicted for the robbery and death of a store clerk that happened in January.

Dameon Jamrc Mosley, 26, was indicted Friday by a Smith County Grand Jury. He was charged in connection with the death of store clerk Billy Dale Stacks during a robbery on Jan. 28 at the Conoco Gas Station on NNE Loop 323 just north of Morningside Drive.

Mosley was arrested in Dallas and later transported back to Smith County in early February. His co-defendant, Lamarcus Hannah, 32, was also arrested for aggravated robbery.

Both men remain in the Smith County Jail each on a $1 million bond.
