Update: Arrest made in theft of four ATVs from Nacogdoches dealership

Nacogdoches Police Department:

Nacogdoches Police have arrested four individuals in connection with the theft of four ATVs from T-Rex-S Outdoor Store that was reported yesterday morning.

Arrested this afternoon were:

Antonio Luis Gallegos- Age 27

Michael Gary Heflin- Age 20

Melissa Gallegos- Age 24

Euardo Mejorado-Age 31

All four are charged with Felony Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. They are currently in the Nacogdoches County Jail pending arraignment. Detectives continue to pursue leads in an effort to recover the stolen ATVs.




NACOGDOCHES (KYTX) - Shortly before 9:00 am on Wednesday, November 13th, the Nacogdoches Police Department was called to T-Rex-S Outdoor Store on North Street in reference to a theft.

During the overnight hours, four side-by-side ATVs were stolen from the dealership. The thieves forced open a fenced area and drove the vehicles away. Officers were able to track the vehicles through an area behind the store and along the Union Pacific railroad tracks to a location near the Old Tyler Road, where the vehicles were apparently loaded onto a vehicle.

The stolen ATVs are three 2014 Polaris Razors and one 2013 Polaris Razor.

Detectives pursued active leads in this case all day and into the evening yesterday. This investigation has identified several suspects in this case. Arrest warrants have been obtained, and arrests are forthcoming.

NPD Detectives are still investigating this case in an effort to locate the stolen ATVs, and possibly identify more suspects.

Further information will be released as arrests are made, or more developments occur.
