UPDATE: East Texas Attorney Facing Murder Charges

UPDATE: GREENVILLE (KYTX)– The Greenville Police Department was notified early this morning of a shooting in the 3800 Block of Spencer.

Officers responded to the call and found an African American male, 48-year-old Curtis Wayne Gray, had been shot. Gray was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Sheila Linden.

Initial investigation of the shooting led to the arrest of 61-year-old Royal Lynn Mullins. Mullins was booked in the Hunt County Jail on a charge of murder.

Mullins was arraigned later in the day in Judge Linden's court. His bond has been set at $150,000.

The Greenville Police Department is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

GREENVILLE (KYTX) – An attorney from Greenville has been arrested and charged with murder.

According to the Herald Banner, 61-year-old Royal Mullins was booked into the Hunt County jail Wednesday morning.

Mullins is currently being held on a $150,000 bond.

Mullins allegedly shot and killed a man Tuesday night.

More details are expected to be released later today.
