UPDATE (11:00pm, 1/25/13): Smith County Sheriff Larry Smith tells CBS 19 Shannon Johnson's body was found at 8:30pm Friday.
Smith said Johnson's body was in the rear parking lot of the Good Samaritan Outreach Center near the intersection of Beckham Avenue and Ferguson Street in Tyler. Smith said the initial investigation showed Johnson died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Smith County sheriff's officials are searching for a woman missing from the southern portion of the county, according to Sheriff Larry Smith.
About 7:30 p.m. Thursday, the Smith County Sheriff's Office was notified of a welfare concern of a citizen that was missing from her residence. The woman's residence is located between Troup and Whitehouse.
The missing person is Shannon Michelle Johnson, 38. She should be driving a black 2006 GMC Envoy (mid size SUV), displaying Texas license plate number CY6X154. This vehicle will have a yellow Tyler Junior College sticker on the left side of the rear window. There will be a heart pendant on the rearview mirror.
Johnson was in possession of a 9MM Ruger Model P85 Semi-automatic pistol. Anyone coming in contact with Johnson or her vehicle, call Smith County sheriff's office at 903-566-6600 OR 911.
