UPDATE: Teen released from hospital just days after being shot in head

TYLER (KYTX) - The 19-year-old, Gregory Rolling, shot in the head Friday in the 700 block of Kennedy Avenue has been released from the hospital, according to hospital representatives.

Police and emergency crews responded to the small apartment complex on Kennedy around 12:00 Friday afternoon. That's when they found Rolling bleeding from the head.

He was taken to the Trinity Mother Frances where he underwent surgery.

Despite being shot in the head, the bullet didn't penetrate his skull and he did survive.

Police have a few suspects in mind, but as of now, no one has been arrested. Police haven't released a motive in this incident.
