UPDATE: Texas' Most Wanted sex offender captured

UPDATE: December 4, 2012 (KYTX) - On December 3rd, 2012, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Lone Star Fugitive Task Force members, while conducting surveillance, apprehended Texas Ten Most Wanted Sex Offender Lloyd Lester Gibson at the intersection of Congress and Oltorf in Austin, Travis County, Texas without incident.

Gibson was transported to the Travis County Jail by Lone Star Fugitive Task Force members and booked in on the warrants.

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – A 67-year-old man has been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender list. The last known address for Lloyd Lester Gibson III is in Fort Worth.

Gibson's last address was an apartment on Ellis Avenue, but he also has relatives and friends living in the Houston area, and has ties to Austin.

Currently Gibson is wanted for failing to register as a sex offender, but his criminal history includes convictions for Indecent Exposure, Indecency with a Child by Fondling, Indecency with a Child by Exposure, and Burglary. Most of his crimes against children involve underage girls.

Authorities say Gibson has been known to work as a medical technician, lab researcher and computer programmer.

Gibson is a white male, stands 5'8″ tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. Identifying marks on his body include: scars on his chest, left shoulder, right elbow and right shoulder.

Anyone with information about the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders is asked to contact authorities. There are four different ways to provide anonymous tips:
