Update: Two Injured as SUV Slams into Longview's Inspiration House

 UPDATE: LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Longview Police have identified the two people injured Wednesday night after an SUV slammed into the Inspiration House.

The two pedestrians struck by the vehicle are Robert Lee Mayfield 59, of Longview, and Jo Anne Smith 45 of Longview.

Both victims were transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

The four passengers in Addison's vehicle, which included young three children, were not injured. The crash remains under investigation.

According to eyewitness, Dennis Johnson, at around 10:15 Wednesday night, a Chevy Tahoe lost control and slammed into the Inspiration House in Longview.The accident happened on the 700 block of Green Street.

Witnesses tell CBS 19 that two people were struck by the car. The 2 were attending a meeting and spent the end of the meeting talking on two benches outside of the building.

CBS 19 spoke with Latoya Addison, who claims she was the driver of the vehicle. Passenger Satoya Smith also spoke with us. Addison says she was driving West on Young street, and lost control. Her brakes wouldn't work due to running out of brake fluid. She turned north onto Green Street, and quickly swerved to miss an oncoming car. She says her steering wheel then locked up causing her to continue the sharp turn. The car continued until it was stopped by the building.

Satoya Smith says there were 3 of Addison's children in the Tahoe, but none of them were injured.
