UPDATE: Tyler police ID suspect using stolen credit cards

The Tyler Police Department has identified the suspect in the photograph using the stolen credit cards from an aggravated robbery on Sunday.  The name of the suspect is being withheld at this time due to the ongoing investigation. 

The robbery occurred about 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Loop 323 E SE in Tyler. Upon Officer's arrival, they contacted the victim who stated she was walking home when she observed an older model white car pull up beside her.

A black male exited the car, pointed a small black pistol at her, and demanded her cell phone. The victim handed over her purse and phone. 

The victim was unharmed during the incident.  

The suspect got back into the car and fled westbound on the Loop. The victim said that she observed four black males inside the car as it drove away. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5-feet, 9-inches, 180 pounds and was wearing a gray hat.

Anyone with information about the suspects involved in this crime are urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).  Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
