Upshur County man jailed on charges from three counties

LONGVIEW (KYTX) - An Upshur County man wanted in three counties is in the Gregg County Jail.

James Eric Potter, 22, of Ore City, is being held on Gregg County charges of misdemeanor theft from 2013, and aggravated sexual assault of a child from 2011, when he was accused of having sex twice with a 13-year-old girl when he was 19.

Potter is also wanted for theft and drunk driving out of McClennan County, and injury to a child, elderly or disabled person-criminal negligence in Marion County. Potter's bond was set at $261,000.
