(CNN) - Decking the house with rows of lighting is nothing unusual at this time of year, but a Virginia man is putting on an entire light show.

It almost looks like rush hour in suburban Washington, but it's not.  People stop, tune in and enjoy the show.  A spectacular musical choreography with 350,000 lights.

"Oh my God, this is so beautiful," says a passerby.

Bill Vaughan, a Kenny Rogers-Santa look alike is the man behind this Christmas Magic.

"I started out with a few lights 22 years ago.  I just add a little every year and this is what you end up with," says Bill Vaughan.

Every year this owner of a construction company  takes the whole month of November off to install the lights.  You can see jumping reindeers above fish heads popping up the stream. He is a true artist at heart.

"You can see something in your mind and you're able to do it in lights and it's very gratifying," says Bill Vaughan.

He has five command centers. In just one of them, you can see breakers, relay panels and optic fiber.

"People don't realize how tedious it is, putting the lights on is the easy part," says Bill Vaughan.

There are more extension cords than you can imagine.  It takes 350 hours to connect them altogether.  One minute takes 15 hours to create.  The show is a 20 minute loop.

"I see the smiles on the people's faces, kids squealing stuff like that, it's well worth it," says Bill Vaughan.

Now, how much does it cost?  "I don't have a clue , if I kept track of it, it would probably ruin my Christmas," says Bill Vaughan.

Don't tell anybody, but a red-nosed reindeer whispered that Bill Vaughan had spent around $60,000 dollars on this over the past 22 years.

But, as they say 'Christmas magic is priceless.'
