Web Exclusive: Imagine working only 3 days a week

(CBS) - How would you like to only work three days a week?  One of the world's richest says we all should be doing it!  Mexican telecom mogul, Carlos Slim is proposing a radical change to the typical five day work week.  Slim told a business conference that people should work 3 days a week for 11 hours a day.  The reason?  It would allow people to work later in life into their 70s and allow workers more time to relax.  

Verizon Wireless wants to track your every move.  This week the company kicks off a nationwide loyalty program.  Customers can earn points for every dollar spent, but there's a catch: you have to let the company track your movement so they can target ads that match your location and interests.

Summer's in full swing but big retailers are already pushing their back to school deals.  Walmart cut prices on 10 percent more items compared to last year and is giving teachers 10 percent cash-back on many products.  Target is looking to revamp its image and boost sales with a buy one give one program.  For every purchase by Target customers through August 2nd, the retailer will provide target brand school supplies to kids who need them.

Remember when a Walkman was the thing to have?  It's been a while.  Well, you can still get one, but the latest version called the ZX1 will cost you $700 dollars.  Sony is now targeting high end buyers with a new version of the Walkman, 35 years after it debuted.  It's smaller, sleeker, has 128 gigabytes of storage and is carved from a block of aluminum.  The product is reportedly a hot seller in Japan, but its debut in the U.S. has not been set yet.
