Tweets don't come cheap these days. The former owner of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban, is fired off what's being called one of the most-expensive tweets ever.
He tweeted that he "failed miserably" in his attempts to "fix officiating" in the pro basketball league. That tweet came with a 50,000 price tag because the NBA has a policy against publicly criticizing referees.
Cuban has paid millions of dollars in fines over the past 13 years for crying foul on NBA refs. According to the Mavs' website, Cuban matches every NBA fine with a personal donation to charity.
