(CNN) - A Mexican man tries to smuggle more than a ton of marijuana into the U.S. in a shipment of bell peppers. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials stopped the 35-year-old in his tractor-trailer at an Arizona commercial facility. An x-ray scan and a canine search uncovered 280 packages of pot, estimated to be worth more than one million dollars. Authorities seized the drugs and the tractor-trailer. The driver was turned over to immigration and customs enforcement's Homeland Security investigations.
You won't believe where some of Taylor Swift's fan mail ended up. Team Taylor Swift is trying to figure out how a large stack ended up in a dumpster. WKRN-TV in Nashville reports that someone discovered hundreds of letters addressed to Swift in a recycling center. Taylor's spokeswoman said she gets thousands of fan letters everyday and that it's likely a small portion was accidentally mixed in with a batch that had already been read.
Rihanna has had to pull out of a second concert performance in a week after a bout with the flu and laryngitis. Shows scheduled for Baltimore and Boston as part of her "Diamonds World Tour" were both canceled. She tweeted, "I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down." Her next show is scheduled for Thursday in Philadelphia.
Your Facebook friends will now be able to keep up with what you're watching on Netflix. The video streaming service launched its first Facebook app this week. On Netflix's site, users will able to see which shows their Facebook friends have watched and rated highly. On Facebook, Netflix customers can share their viewing history on their news feed, or opt out of the title sharing mode completely. Netflix expects all users to have access to the app by the end of the week.
