(CBS/CNN) - Where you live could determine how much you pay for health care under the new federal health care law. To keep premiums low, some states are allowing insurance companies to charge patients a large share of the cost for expensive medications used to treat chronic diseases like cancer and rheumatoid arthritis. In California, patients could pay more than two thousand dollars a month for one widely used cancer drug, while New York caps co-pays at $70 dollars.

A retired Air Force One goes on the auction block this week. A plane that once carried presidents could be yours for the right price. The federal government is auctioning off the aging DC-9 that flew presidents and first ladies throughout the Ford, Carter, Reagan, George HW Bush and Clinton years. The bidding will open at $50,000.
A report in the "The Financial Times" claims more than 10-thousand private messages sent by Bloomberg's clients containing sensitive information has been leaked online. It came the same day Bloomberg's CEO apologized for allowing its reporters access to client information.
The Motor City is quickly running out of cash. A report by Detroit's bankruptcy attorney says the city government is weeks away from depleting the funds it needs to operate. Kevyn Orr writes that "the path Detroit has followed for more than 40 years is unsustainable -- and only a complete restructuring of the city's finances and operations will allow Detroit to regain its footing." To give you an idea of how dire the situation is: Detroit is at least $15-billion dollars in debt, due to years of borrowing to pay bills as tax revenues plummeted. People are leaving the city in droves. The city's population has fallen nearly 30% since last year and there are currently 100-thousand vacant lots and buildings in the city.
