East Texas (KYTX)- Good Wednesday morning!
An upper low spinning near Corpus Christi will continue to trigger rain/thunderstorms along the coastal counties of TX today. A few clouds from the storms well to our south will move up into East TX this afternoon, otherwise expect only isolated thunderstorms across deep East TX today. The rest of us will remain mostly sunny with highs in the middle 90's and drop into the lower 70's tonight.
20% chance of scattered afternoon/eve thunderstorms again Thursday. Highs near 94. However, the best chance of rain still looks to be Friday and Saturday as our next storm system punches across TX. Expect the additional clouds and the rain/thunderstorms to hold temps down the first part of your holiday weekend. Highs Friday and Saturday, only in the lower 90's.
Have a great midweek!
