WASHINGTON, D.C. (CNN) - If you're planning a tour to the White House this spring break, you may be out of luck.
The White House Visitor Center is canceling all tours starting Saturday, March 9th due to forced budget cuts. An automated message at the Visitor Center's hotline is delivering the news. The tours will not be rescheduled and the freeze will be in effect "until further notice."
Newt Gingrich tweeted, "canceling White House tours is childish and dishonest. The golf weekend in Florida cost enough to keep the White House open for months."
