LONGVIEW (KYTX) - A 21-year-old Longview woman is in jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, after investigators say she stabbed another woman in the forehead during an altercation.
At about 3:30 Wednesday afternoon, officers responded to a report of a cutting on Tammy Lynn Drive at Clyde Street. According to a probable cause arrest warrant, Lapassion Untrunette Brown told officers that during an altercation, the victim was stabbed in the forehead but denied being the perpetrator. The victim told officers that Brown stabbed her with a knife.
Officers found a blood-splattered pocket knife inside a silver Chevy Trail Blazer that Brown was seen standing beside when officers arrived. Brown told officers the Chevy belonged to her aunt, but dispatchers reported the vehicle registered to Brown, according to the arrest warrant.
Brown is in the Gregg County Jail tonight on $7,500 bond.
