East Texas Christian Academy made history on Saturday afternoon. They held their first-ever football homecoming. This is the inaugural year of their 6-man football team, and they decided to celebrate with homecoming.
There were festivities that took place throughout the morning, including an ETCA Middle School versus High School Girls' flag football game.
Shortly after, the main event commenced. ETCA faced off against Exel HomeSchool in their regular season finale. This game stay fairly close early on. But in the 2nd half, the Lions pulled away. They ended up defeating the Panthers 48-18.
