The UT Tyler volleyball team has been rolling lately, winning their final 5 matches of the season. Now they prepare for their hardest stretch of the season, as they get ready for the American Southwest Conference Tournament.
In recent years, the Patriots have struggled in the ASC tournament, but this year could be different. "I think this group has really bought in to wanting to be great and wanting to win a championship," head coach Lyndsay Mashe explained. The Patriots are still seeking their first ever conference title.
Senior Brieanne Brown added, "You can tell we truly love each other and care about each other. The respect that everyone has for each other on this team is what has made us so successful this season."
The Patriots open the ASC tournament against Hardin-Simmons on Thursday night.
