Some of East Texas' sharpest students are honored for their academic achievements.

The All East Texas Academic Banquet took place at Whitehouse High School Monday. Students from all over East Texas packed into the school cafeteria to receive academic recognition. "When you keep studying, keep working hard, do everything you can and get those good grades then they finally pay off for your future," said Huntington High School Senior Charles Ray Jones.
