TYLER (KYTX) - Looking ahead, from our news partner the Tyler Morning Telegraph, the Tyler ISD board of trustees will meet today to consider the superintendent's evaluation and contract.

Currently, superintendent Dr. Randy Reid is working with a three year contract and an annual salary of $185,000.

The board is required by state law and local policy to evaluate the superintendent each year. In addition, the board is scheduled to discuss a possible land purchase for a future school site.
