HOUSTON (CNN) - Part of a Texas interstate remained closed overnight Tuesday after a bizarre accident.

It happened on Interstate 45 in Houston when an 18- wheeler lost its trailer. The trailer ended up leaning against an overhead beam. That same beam holds-up the exit sign for Airline Drive.

Somehow the cab of the big rig separated from the trailer. The good news is nobody was hurt.

The bad news is traffic was backed up for miles. TXDOT didn't want people to exit there because they didn't know if the sign was going to fall.
