(CBS) - Health experts are taking a closer look at the risks from osteoporosis drugs.
Doctors prescribe medication to millions of Americans to prevent bone loss, but they're concerned that patients who take the drugs for more than 3-years face a greater risk for damage to the jaw and thigh bones.
The Food and Drug administration is meeting later today to discuss those risks and whether long term patients should take a break from medications.
