TRINITY COUNTY (KYTX) -- A Trinity woman is under arrest after she confessed to starting five fires over the weekend.

According to Trinity County deputy constable Rusty Barrett, 46 year old Tommie Ragsdale started the fires one at a time Sunday morning, then called each into 9-1-1.

Ragsdale confessed to starting all five fires. Three of the fires were set behind her home, and two others were set in the area of FM 355, all in Trinity County.

Ragsdale told authorities she used pine straw to light the ones behind her house, and shredded paper to light the others.

Ragsdale is being held in the Trinity County Jail on $475,000 bond.
