We live in the South, so some of us may have a Southern accent, but would you consider saying "goodbye" to "howdy, y'all"?
The Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee was going to offer a speech class for its workers next month to do just that, until it got canceled.

EAST TEXAS (KYTX) -- Active is an understatement when talking about these three brothers; Elijah, Isaiah and Josiah.

"It's pretty obvious that they are high energy," Child Protective Services Cindy Hodges said. "It's going to take a family that is very patient and has enough energy to match them and keep up with them."

These boys are placed together in foster care and very bonded.

"I don't think they would do well at all if we even tried to separate them," Hodges said.

Josiah, or JoJo as he's called, is four years old and the youngest. He is a preschooler who enjoys playing with Hot Wheels cars.

"He likes one-on-one attention," Hodges said. "He loves to be the focus of attention and to be held, snuggle and know he's the one you're focusing on."

Isaiah and Elijah are seven-year-old twins who are both entering the second grade. Both boys enjoy sports such as basketball, soccer and baseball.

While these boys have similar interests, their personalities are different.

"Elijah is a little more emotional than Isaiah I would say," Hodges said. "Maybe he gets his feelings hurt a little bit easier."

An inconsistent past filled with neglect has left these young boys longing for stability. And they understand what it means to be adopted. But most of all, they want to share the love of a forever family together.

If you are interested in foster care or adoption, there is a conference in Tyler this weekend you'll want to attend.

"God's Heart for Orphans" conference will be held at the Crosswalk Conference Center at Green Acres Baptist Church Saturday  from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
