TYLER (KYTX) -- The Texas based company has locations all over the country. They said they got the perfect spot in Tyler. The location is near several schools and in the middle of the community.
Mooyah recently went through a redesign and Tyler was where they decided to unveil it.
The burger business hired nearly 25 employees from across East Texas to help bring their new concept to the rose city.
"We like the Tyler market," Franchise co-owner Scott Isabelle said. "It's a very friendly market and they draw from a lot of communities around the area and they all converge on Tyler and this was a very hard to get in Tyler. It's coveted real estate and we're happy to be here. The employees we hired from the surrounding area have been incredible."
The restaurant opened this morning and we're told long lines were flowing out the door all day.
Tyler is the first of five new locations that the owners are opening. The second will be located in Denton.
Mooyah has most positions filled but the owner may be hiring again in the future. Just drop by the Tyler location to pick up an application.
