(CBS/CNN) - U.S. airlines are ringing in the New Year with higher ticket prices.

Last week Delta airlines raised prices on roundtrip international flights by 20 dollars.  Most major carriers rushed to match that fare hike.

A warning about the dangers of re-using insulin pens on multiple people even if the needle is changed.  The Centers for Disease Control is issuing the reminder to people in the health care industry.

Insulin pens can be used multiple times, but the CDC says they should only be used on one person.  Re-using the pens puts people at higher risk for blood-borne diseases such as hepatitis and HIV.

A thriving, highly organized black market is taking money right out of the pockets of computer giant Apple in Beijing.

The company took its iPhone 4S off the shelves at its flagship store in the Chinese capital last week after near-riots at its launch.  Now, fake Apple stores are exploiting the gap in the market.

An action figure of late Apple founder, Steve Jobs won't be happening.

Apple and Jobs' family have apparently put pressure on the toy-maker to shelve the project.  In-icons.com says the idea "was driven by a fan's admiration of Steve."  The doll was to feature Jobs' iconic black turtleneck, glasses, jeans and sneakers and would have sold for $99 bucks.

The company says out of respect for Jobs' family, it won't make the doll.
