HOUSTON (KYTX) -- A wardrobe war on a high school campus in Spring Branch, near Houston.

Students are protesting a ban on yoga pants.

Thursday, dozens of female students donned the forbidden pants in protest. Their act of defiance did not go unpunished, some students said they were given in school suspension for reasons they don't understand.

The school said dress code is spelled out in student planners and is in place to prevent classroom disruptions and safety hazards.
