Morning Newscast Director/Technical Director
(40 Hours per Week)
CBS 19 is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Director/TD. Candidate will be responsible for directing live broadcasts and pre-produced content using a Snell & Wilcox 2ME Kahuna switcher and a 4-channel VideoTechnics Apella video playback server.
Other duties will include, but are not limited to, production of broadcast graphics and operation of Chyron Hyper X2 graphics system, operating Audio Console, operating studio cameras and teleprompter.
Must have working knowledge of live control room operations and fast paced newscast production techniques. Successful candidate should be dependable, possess leadership qualities, and be able to work whenever needed, including but not limited to mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
Must have good communication skills, and work well under extreme pressure and deadlines. Minimum 1 year of television directing experience preferred.
