JACKSONVILLE (KYTX) - Steve Wells has resigned as Jacksonville's Head Football Coach and AD.

 

Eric Sullivan was told it was a conflict of interest between the new School Board members and Wells, and the result was for both to go their separate ways.

 

The Jacksonville football program was successful under Wells, but they did not reach the playoffs last season.

 

A search for a new Head Coach and AD will begin immediately.
