Seeming sudden onset of Autism refuted by UNC study

(KYTX) -- New research suggests that Autism does not appear suddenly in young children but, rather, develops over time during infancy.

Using a special form of MRI, scientists at the University of North Carolina were able to detect significant differences in brain development, starting at age 6 months .

The babies in the study had older autistic siblings.
